At Great Ideas Company, we are passionate about transforming classroom learning through project-based learning. Our Pro D takes teachers step by step through the process of effective and innovative project-based learning, ensuring that their students are always engaged and excited about their education. We believe that learning is strongest when students are encouraged to imagine, brainstorm, collaborate, design, implement, assess, and present their projects. We are committed to helping teachers create memorable and interactive learning experiences for their students.
Students need to take ownership over their learning because there is a good body of evidence in the research that tells us that students take more ownership over their learning and are more invested in their learning continuum all along the way. There is increased motivation, there is increased engagement, there’s increased understanding of where they are in and of themselves.

In a 3-hour Pro D session we will go through the steps of pure project-based learning and how it meets or exceeds prescribed Core Competencies when they are engaged in the “doing” – the Curricular Competencies – within a learning areas.
